About Ashley

Through my professional work with children and parents as a nanny, preschool teacher, and private school admissions professional I have loved being a support for growing families. In my personal life I have peer counseled dozens of new parents working through lactation challenges, birth recovery, and getting into the groove with a newborn in the mix.

When you work with Mingo’s Nest Doula, you are receiving support from a mother with 10 years of experience to help you evaluate and process your options without guilt or pressure to make choices a certain way about YOUR family and YOUR baby. I am here to listen to you, reassure you, and offer support for the choices you make… not the choices your friends, family, or books tell you to make.

I will strive to provide you with evidence based, and quality researched resources to support your new and growing family instead of the latest fads and trends in social media parenting. Support will look like: assistance with lactation needs, pumping, bottle feeding, and general newborn and postpartum body recovery without leaving your home.

I hope to come alongside you in the beginning of your parenting journey, to listen to your worries, to process your birth story, to guide you in areas of concern, and cheer for you with all the growth and success I know you will achieve in parenthood!
